Technical Director – Clint Webster
Clint is a lighting designer, master electrician, and stage hand with over 12 years of technical and leadership experience in the entertainment industry. He began developing his skill in the Westview theater as a lighting tech, where he found a passion for the craft. In college, he pursued technical theater, becoming a crew lead and master electrician as well as expanding his understanding of all aspects of theatrical production. He has built sets and lighting rigs for a variety of plays and musicals, as well as live events of all types at the San Diego House of Blues and for event production companies in many places around California. He currently works at Sea World, installing and maintaining the lighting, rigging and special effects for the park’s rides, shows and events.
Clint hopes to bring his knowledge of the entertainment industry back to Westview and foster the same love of the craft in the students that he has. He wishes to instill in them the work ethic that is required in the industry as a whole, as well as help develop the skills and vision that will benefit the students in the future, both in the entertainment industry and the broader world.
