Westview Theatre Company productions and associated events would not be possible without the volunteer efforts of our amazing parents, students, and program supporters. Volunteers are needed for our seasonal productions as well as associated events like Tech Appreciation Dinners and end of year Theatre Banquet. If you are a parent of a student that is on either the cast or crew of a current production, we ask that you try to sign up for at least one volunteer spot for that specific production. This avoids a few parents having to do the bulk of the work.
How Volunteering Works
For our productions and other main events, we use VolunteerSpot, an online sign-up and reminder tool, to manage our volunteer opportunities. If you are a parent of a student in a current production, we will already have your email address and as the event gets closer, you will receive an email invitation to sign-up on VolunteerSpot. The process is very easy. All you do is follow the link in the email invitation, enter your email address at the VolunteerSpot website (you don’t have to create an account and your address will not be placed on any mailing lists), and then choose which volunteer opportunities you would like to sign-up for. As the event approaches, you will receive reminder notices.
Note: When you volunteer to work a show, you will receive TWO volunteer labels that will allow you to reserve seats for the shows you wish to attend 30 minutes before the doors open to the general public.
If you are not the parent of a student in a current production but would still like to contribute your time to help this amazing program, or you have any questions about Westview Theatre volunteer opportunities, please email our Volunteer Coordinator:
